In accordance with Section 13 and Section 63 of Act No. 542/2020 Coll., on end-of-life products and electrical equipment, we would like to inform end users about how to handle the resulting waste.
Disposal of pellet stoves
When disposing of pellet stoves, place the firebox lining, glass, sealing cords, ceramics and natural stone in inert or bulky waste (collection yard). Hand over the sheet metal body or other metal parts to a metal waste collection center.
The disposal of pellet stoves is subject to the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. In the EU, such a product is marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin directly on the product and/or on the packaging.
At the time of disposal, this product must not be treated as normal household waste or mixed with household waste. At the time of disposal, you can return this product to the place of purchase if the retailer is involved in the return of waste, or take it to a local collection point for recycling.

Why recycle?
Electrical equipment contains many recyclable materials, such as plastics, glass, metals (zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium, lead, etc.). Some of these substances are also very dangerous for the environment and human health, especially mercury, lead and cadmium. By handing over electrical equipment to a collection point, we save primary sources of raw materials, especially thanks to material recycling, and at the same time protect our environment from possible improper handling and subsequent pollution. Fines may be imposed in accordance with national regulations for the incorrect disposal of this type of waste.
